South Korea eSIM
Data for Seoul, Busan and everywhere between. Install it before you fly and it connects on its own when you land at Incheon.
1 GB at full speed every day, then 10 Mbps until midnight.
No account needed. Full refund until you activate.
The numbers, in full
Every eSIM slows down once you pass a threshold. Most sellers put that threshold in a footnote. Here is ours, next to what you actually get.
| Daily Unlimited | Data Pack | |
|---|---|---|
| Full speed | 1 GB per day | Your whole allowance |
| Speed after thatOn Daily Unlimited, full speed comes back the next morning. Airalo drops to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, Saily after 5 GB, and Holafly does not publish its threshold. | 10 Mbps | 128 kbps |
| Data typeYour own number stays active and keeps handling calls and texts. | Data only | Data only |
| Connection | Roaming profile | Roaming profile |
| TetheringWe are waiting on the carrier to confirm this and will publish it here when we have it. | Not confirmed | Not confirmed |

Where it works
This plan covers South Korea and nowhere else. It will not connect on the flight or on a stopover.
How to install it
- 1Buy it before you fly
Pay as a guest. The QR code lands in your email within minutes.
- 2Scan it on wifi at home
Your phone stores the profile and leaves it switched off until you need it.
- 3Land and turn it on
Switch the line on in your settings. The plan starts counting from that first connection.
Before you buy
The plan starts when it connects, not when you buy
Install it at home on wifi. The clock starts the first time it finds a network in South Korea, so buying early costs you nothing.
You cannot extend a plan or top it up
Each plan runs its length and stops. If you need more time, buy a second plan and install it the same way. We would rather say this now than at the airport.
Refunds are full until you activate
Any time before the eSIM connects to a network, we refund everything. Once it has connected we cannot refund it, because the carrier has already issued the line.
Your phone has to be eSIM capable and unlocked
Dial *#06# and look for an EID number. If you see one and your phone is not locked to a carrier, it will work.
